Now your decision to marry has become a reality and you have your date and time arranged, the process of developing your wedding ceremony can begin.

There are several steps in this process:

  1. Contact me via phone, email or click here to arrange an obligation-free meeting between us.
  2. Between 18 months and 31 clear days before the ceremony, a Notice of Intended Marriage form must be completed and witnessed by me. This can be done at the first meeting if you have your documentation (birth certificate, divorce decree absolute, etc). See Legal Requirements for full information.
  3. I provide you with a comprehensive resource folder via email or in hard copy (or both). It contains sample ceremonies, readings, poetry and other information. You can utilize this information in the creation of your personal ceremony.
  4. After we have discussed your wishes, I will draft your personal ceremony and send it to you. This can be edited as often as necessary until you are happy with the final document. During this process you have unlimited consultation with me either in person, via telephone or email.
  5. Free rehearsal before the wedding, either at the venue or another location.
  6. On the wedding day, I will arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony, or earlier by arrangement. I can supply a PA system so everyone you invite can hear the whole ceremony.
  7. I present you with the marriage certificate you sign and have witnessed on the day, as well as a full copy of your wedding ceremony.
  8. I submit all legal paperwork to the Office of Births, Deaths and Marriages for registration of your marriage.
